Logo design for Genomic Institute of Asia

Logo design for Genomic Institute of Asia, an organization that utilizes next-generation sequencing to generate thousands of megabases of sequence information per day, opening doors to new research studies that were once difficult to accomplish in a practical manner.
Through a dialogue with the client, we came to these conclusions that the logo should be: simple/clean, with an origami-like effect (such as a paper crane) and some hint of DNA helix or nucleotide-pairing element. I aimed to capture the above essence by the theme of "connection," using one-stroke to illustrate both the crane and the DNA helix.
